School Uniform is compulsory. All items of school uniform can be obtained from the ‘Uniform Shop’ in Newport Town Centre and Macey Sports on Caerleon Road. All items of clothing must be clearly marked with your child’s name.
Maindee Uniform
- Royal blue sweatshirt or Cardigan
- Grey trousers , grey pinafore dress or skirt
- White shirt or blouse with a school tie
- If appropriate and for cultural reasons grey leggings
- All black shoes / All black trainers
Maindee Uniform Summer Term
- Girls:- Blue and White gingham dress or White polo shirt with the school logo and a grey skirt. Suitable black sandals or shoes. (No open toes please)
- Boys:- Grey shorts or trousers, White polo shirt with the school logo and suitable black shoes.
Maindee PE kit
- Blue round neck t-shirt with the school logo and black shorts.
- Plimsolls or other appropriate footwear for outdoor use
- Tracksuit bottoms for winter use
Jewellery
The wearing of jewellery is discouraged. The school accepts no responsibility for any jewellery worn to school and lost. Only small stud earrings are allowed, but the wearer must be able to remove these for PE activities.
Nail varnish is not to be worn.
